Kiss Me, I'm Irish!

Okay, so just a little tee-tiny bit of Irish, but it counts, right? :-)

Did you all remember to wear your green today for St. Patty's Day? This was one of those holidays that I honestly didn't even remember most of the time before having children, but now we are really starting to have some fun with it. Since we don't do Valentine's Day at all (nope, not at all), we're ready for a fun little holiday once St. Paddy's Day gets here.

Today, I tried something new. I served the children green milk and Lucky Charms for breakfast!

I really wasn't sure if Brianna would drink the green milk or not. However, she immediately declared that it was "magic milk" and gulped it down! Haha! She was pretty excited about it!

I'm not sure Brenson even noticed it was different? That child is alllllll boy and always starving when he gets up in the mornings, so breakfast generally disappears from his tray about as fast as I can get it there.

After breakfast and before leaving for church, we went outside and snapped a couple quick pics.

My cuties in green:

I had to get in on one of the photos!

This is us last years on St. Patrick's Day. I have to admit, I LOVE the age the children are now, but this photo makes my heart hurt {just a little} for those little babies. Oh, and I'm glad I lost that baby weight too. Yikes.

After church we went out to eat and then home for our traditional Sunday afternoon nap.

It was a nice day :-).
