We also celebrated Chloe's first birthday while we were there. Brianna was so excited, she napped through the whole party!Chloe was a bit overwhelmed with the flurry of activity, but I think she enjoyed her party. My sister made this beautiful cake for her... from scratch! The next weekend, the church where I'm a member hosted a Ladies' Day.
My parents and sister came to our house so Mom and Lisa could attend the Ladies' Day with me.
The weekend after that, we had the priviledge of taking Little B on our first double date since she was born. She enjoyed hanging out with Wes and Kendall!Later that weekend, after one of those soothing, soft, spring rains, Chris and I enjoyed this rainbow while driving home:
It was truly the most spectacular rainbow I've ever seen! It was bright and bold, and we could see the full bow. I couldn't take my eyes off of it. The photo was taken with Chris's cell phone, through the windsheild of the car, so you can imagine how bright the bow was in person. Amazing!
This month, Chris spent several nights away from home traveling for work. Brianna missed him so much when he was gone. She LOVES her Daddy ... there is no doubt about it!
And lastly (for now), I decided to cut off my hair so that it would be faster to dry and fix when I go back to work. I went from this:
to this:
and I pretty much hate it. The lady who cut it did not do what I asked at all, but I'm slowly getting used to it. At least my hair grows fast!
