December Fun: Meeting Santa!

For the past two years, we have taken Brianna to "meet" Santa. Both years, she has sat on his lap with no problems, but refused to smile for a photo. This year, I really talked up Santa to her and told her that she would sit on his lap and smile. I was just hoping that her {less out-going} brother would also sit on Santa's lap.

We went to visit Santa on a Tuesday morning which worked out perfectly! There was only one child ahead of us in line, so we only waited a few minutes. 

Brianna was pumped to sit on Santa's lap! Brenson . . . not so much. BUT, he did it without tears, so I was happy about that.

Of course, we had asked Brianna a while back what she wanted for Christmas. It was a shortish list that included princesses, ponies, and boots (ha!). However, when Santa asked her what she wanted for Christmas, she said Barbies and clothes for them. Uhhhh . . . sorry sweetie, that won't be happening this year. I hope that she kind of forgets about that request in the excitement of opening her gifts :-).

I had purchased these adorable frame ornaments last year at an after Christmas sale. I put one of the wallet-sized photos we {way} over-paid for in a frame and hung it on our tree. Love it!
