Did everyone have a nice long weekend? Ours was busy, but busy with good things :-).
We started off Friday night by having my sister and her family and some friends over for dinner and birthday cupcakes (my sis's birthday). Brenson sure enjoyed his cupcake . . . just look at that face!
He just had to give us his camera face. Haha!
On Saturday morning, Chris and I attended a funeral service for my friend's grandmother. I'm so thankful that we were able to be there in support of my friend. I had met her grandmother several times, and she was quite a lady!
After naptime on Saturday afternoon (for everyone, whoo-hoo!), we headed to our new splash pad in town. We are SO excited to have a splash pad of our very own only about five minutes from our house! It opened a few weeks ago, and the kiddos couldn't wait to show Daddy all around our new hangout :-).
Brianna especially was so excited for Daddy to be there with us. I just noticed this pic is being photo-bombed!
It's a really nice facility, and Bri just runs and runs when we're there.
The weather was HOT on Saturday . . . I think around 100 degrees while we were there!
I try not to get wet, but I so enjoy watching the kiddos play. Bren was unhappy that we were getting ready to leave.
Before we headed to church on Sunday morning, we had a little photo shoot.
I love Sunday morning photo shoots :-).
My sweet girl is growing up so fast. I'm just soaking up every moment!
Brenson used to be so easy to photograph . . .
He's still so sweet!
I love these next two photos!
These faces brighten my world!
After a busy but restful Sunday, we were so excited that Daddy was off work yesterday for Labor Day! We took a little road trip to a town just over an hour away and visited a beautiful and super-fun park.
Doesn't my child look about 3 years old here? People are always shocked when I tell them he is only 18 months old!
We enjoyed watching the fish in this serene pond.
Such pretty scenery!
I hope you had a great Labor Day weekend as well!
