Precious Moments

I have wanted to visit the Precious Moments Chapel for a long time. Many of you may not know this, but I collect Precious Moments figurines.

I do have several that are displayed in various places around my house, but some of them stayed packed up. Someday I'll have room for a china hutch just for my Precious Moments figurines. I love them... they are just precious!

Mom, Lisa, and I went to tour the chapel, see the grounds, and visit the museum. I really enjoyed it

I even added a figurine to my collection. It's called He Cleansed My Soul. The names of the figurines always make me smile :-)

The Passionate Playwrite

I am a 30-something gal living a blessed life in the Midwest. The hubs (Chris) and I are passionate about life and love and living for the Lord. After a 6 year battle with PCOS and infertility, I finally landed my dream job as a stay at home mom to my daughter, Brianna (born February 18, 2010), my son, Brenson (born February 10, 2012), and my twin girls, Brooke & Brecklyn (born February 3, 2015). My road to parenthood was littered with anticipation, plagued with disappointed, and tainted by loss, but through it all God is my anchor. He has shown me what it means to trust Him, and He has taught me how He is faithful. In my pre-baby life, I had a career in higher education, reserved plenty of time for my favorite creative outlet (scrapbooking), and never had to purchase a book from the library because it was covered in spit-up. Things have certainly changed, but I am soaking up this season as I learn what being a mom is all about. I am living my life with purpose and striving to be the woman God wants me to be. This is the story of my life.
