My new specs... and phone!

Did you know that March 30 is National Doctor's Day each year? I know stuff like this because I visit the doctor ALL. THE. TIME.

I seriously get exhausted of going to the doctor.

Last week however, I went to a fun doctor... the EYE doctor! Fun, you say? YES! I think going to the eye doctor is fun! Cut me some slack... just about ANYTHING is fun compared to the RE!!!

ANYWAY, I got these super-sweet new specs:

They are quite different for me, but I love them!
Sorry about the poor quality and color of this photo. I was attempting a self-portrait in the blustery wind, and as it turned out, I was running short on patience that day :-).

This next thing probably deserves a post all its own, but it's not getting one. I also bought a new cell phone!!! This is HUGE for me! I (for some reason unknown to me) get very attached to my phones and NEVER want to change. In fact, it had been 2 1/2 years since I'd had a new phone, and even that phone was the exact same as the one I had before that.

I have a bad tendency to drop my phone, so my old one was really at the end of its rope. As sad as I was to see the old phone go (and I was really sad!), I do believe the new phone and I are going to get along just fine.
