Average Jo

Miss Brianna had her two month check-up yesterday. Dr. F (and his staff) weighed, measured, poked, prodded, stretched, listened, and vaccinated Little Miss. She didn't mind at all... until the shots *eeek*.

Brianna now weighs 11 pounds and 7 ounces. She is 22.5 inches long, and her head circumference is 38 centimeters. That means that she is in the 50th percentile for both weight and height, and in the 25th percentile for head circumference.

After all the fuss that was made about her small size in the womb, she is ... *gasp*

... PERFECTLY AVERAGE in size!!! Who would have thought I'd be so happy about anything average?!?

Like I said, Brianna did great at the appointment until the nurse gave her the shots. Whew... that was hard on Momma, too! I have never seen her cry so hard, but it didn't take her long to settle down. She was pretty fussy on and off for the rest of the day, and just really acted like she didn't feel well. There was certainly a shortage of smiles and coos :-(.
I hope our little sweetie feels like herself again today! I miss her little happy self when she doesn't feel well!
