Lessons in Motherhood

Motherhood lesson number 459:

When the baby, who normally takes her bedtime bottle with no problems, refuses the bottle when she is only about half-way through with it, it may not be the best idea to push the issue. It could be - just maybe - that her tummy is upset. And an upset tummy? It may lead to this:

That is the aftermath of projectile vomit. Of course, that is only the puke that landed on me. What you can't see is the puke on the floor, on the chair, on the burp cloth (yes, some actually made it there!), and on the baby. She was covered in it. Pretty much head-to-toe.

Lesson learned.
