Haircuts and Lunching

Yesterday, B and I had a fun little outing to see Ms. Stephanie (our hairdresser). We were both in desperate need of a trim!

We had to wait for about 10 minutes when we first got to our salon. B decided that she needed to be like Mommy and read a magazine while we waited. Ha!
Getting a decent photo of B's pretty little face is so hard these days. Since she was strapped into the stroller, I decided to take advantage of the opportunity and snap a few "before" photos.
She looks so sweet here!
We were having a great time while we waited. I had been talking to B about how she was going to get her hair cut, and since this wasn't her first haircut, I thought we were ready.
Now, before I show you the photos of B actually getting her hair cut, let's look at these.

Here is B at just barely 4 months old getting her first little trim:
Sooooo little and sweet . . . and look! No tears!
And here she is at 9ish months old:
We're getting that hair trimmed again . . .
. . . and still no tears!
Annnnnnnd, here she is at 15 months old:
Apparently, getting your hair trimmed is the worst thing ever!
What a pitiful face!
I was soooo not expecting such water-works over a little trim! I don't understand why she suddenly decided she hated it, but whatever.

Of course, as soon as it was over, we were happy again!
And yes, I was once again taking advantage of her being strapped in (this time in the carseat)!
After our haircuts, we were going to meet someone for lunch, but those plans fell through. Since I had already planned on eating out, I decided to make it a Mommy/daughter date!

I felt kind of weird eating at a sit-down restaurant with just my 1 year old, but we had a good time. One of B's favorite things to eat is the lemon from my drink. She just sucks away on it . . . doesn't even make a face!

Well, except a happy face! Love my baby girl!
