We haven't had professional family photos taken since Brenson was born. He's only a year old, so we're not too far overdue, but I definitely wanted to get it done and capture the children at the ages they are now. So, back on the first weekend in April, I scheduled a session with a photographer that Chris and I went to high school with.
Unfortunately, the day we chose turned out to be super windy and a bit chilly. Neither of the children we cooperating, and although I love the "real life" moments that were captured, I was a little frustrated with the way the children acted. Oh well. That's life with littles :-).
2 (Bri especially was in a mood this day)
7 (about the best we could get from her)
9 (and this is pretty indicative of Brenson's mood at first)
13 (notice Bren is screaming again)
20 (favorite family shot)
25 (favorite couple shot)
26 (love this . . . real life for sure!)
27 (the closest to the "perfect" family shot as we got)
30 (beautiful boy)
36 (so precious!)
45 (These suckers were NOT my idea and they ended up being a HUGE mess. Ugh. But, this photo is precious.)
48 (adore this!)
It was a rough morning, but I'm still glad to have these photos! Even now, Brenson looks so young in these to me. It's amazing how quickly they change.
Oh, and my sister made the personalized shirts. Isn't she talented? You can find her shop on FB here if you need to order something!
