Back at the beginning of November, we had a family session with our favorite photographer. I had been wanting to have family pics made for a while, but the thought of trying to do it with so many littles was a bit daunting. However, I knew that I would regret it if we didn't at least try, so I went ahead and scheduled a session.
We had initially scheduled our session for November 2nd, but I had to postpone it because the kids had all been sick (and the babies were still). We pushed the session back a week to November 9th, and it ended up working out perfectly. The weather was gorgeous, the fall foliage was a little more vibrant than it had been the week before, and all the kiddos were healthy. I love Autumn, so of course I wanted to do an outdoor session with the awesome fall foliage as a backdrop. I do love these photos, but I will say that the leaves were not as beautiful this year as they've been in the past. Our photographer's parents own land not too far from our house, and that's where we met for the session. I recruited my sister to come along to help get everyone to look in the general direction of the camera, and that worked out well, I think. It was quite a job to get everyone coordinated, ready, and and into position for the camera, but I am so thankful to have these photos. It makes my heart full when I see how full our family photos look these days. God has richly blessed us!
This is one of my favorites.
Haha . . . Brenson and Brianna are maybe trying a little toooooo hard!
I'm not sure what Brianna is doing here, but it's so her.
I know this one is far from perfect, but I kind of love it.
My favorite of just the kiddos.
Brecklyn was being a mess at this point. She kept arching her back and poor Bren had trouble hanging onto her.
I think Brianna was looking about how I was feeling. Haha!
Notice we switched who was holding who.
My favorite faces :-)
I wasn't expecting to take photos of just The Hubs and me, but I'm glad we did!
Lisa had CJ with her, so she got in on a few photos. Cuties :-).
I love the background of this photo.
This one is hilarious to me because everyone is laughing except Brecklyn. She was serious throughout the entire session, but she was especially over it by this point.
I'm not sure why we have this random individual photo of Brianna, but it's great of her!
Annnnnd, a photo that depicts real life a little closer!
We were pretty exhausted when all was said and done, but I do love them! Which ones do you like?
