I'm 100 Years Old, Sonny!

Yesterday was the 100th day of school for the twins. The first grade teachers at their school have a hilarious tradition of having the first graders dress up like 100 year old people on the 100th day of school. What's better than a bunch of little kids dressing and acting like old people!?!

Brecklyn wasn't too convinced that she wanted to dress up, but Brooke was here for it! We laid out their outfits and made a plan for hair the night before, and thankfully Brecklyn quickly came around to it all! Chris even made them canes to use!

Brooke and Brecklyn . . . the most hilarious 100 year olds I know!

They were both stayed in character like it was their job, but Brecklyn especially had the mannerisms DOWN. I think her personality already leans that way, so it was easy for her :-).

When I dropped them off at school, they hobbled into the building with their canes and it had me cracking up. Then, I got these photos from Brecklyn's teacher:

Their faces in this one!!!

Haha!

I told Mrs. W that she must have been laughing all day long because just the photos had me rolling. I love the perception kids must have of old people and how much they played into the character. This is one of my favorite days of the year!

And of course, I had to go find photos of Brenson and Brianna when they were in first grade and dressed up like 100 year olds.
