Another VBS week is in the books! This time we studied all about Jesus and what better subject could there be?!?
Chris, the VBS director
This was our first VBS to host since we lost about 25% of our membership at the end of last summer due to moves and death. This was also our first VBS since Russ, Lisa, and Chloe moved, and we all know that Lisa is the girl with all the best ideas and crafty abilities. I was all prepared to make things work without those who moved when I found out that Lisa and Chloe were coming back to help for the week. Whoo-hoo!

Even though Lisa and Chloe were coming back for the week, I designed and completed all the hallway decorations before they got here. I felt pretty insecure about it at first, but everything worked out okay.
Definitely not my favorite hallway we've ever done, but it fit the theme and communicated the message we wanted.
I taught my usual class of 4, 5, and K. Here is my classroom decor:
And my little class with Spencer and Lia:
They were both happy to be there and good little students!
Lisa and G-Jo taught 1st and 2nd grade:
While Tia had 3rd and 4th grades:
Ross took his usual 5th and 6th grade, but he only had Brenson as a student so most nights they combined with the 7th-12th class.
Our teen class (7th-12th) was our largest group with Grampy as the teacher.
We had a good week and are thankful for each person who volunteered and each person who attended (not all pictured)!
Our last night, we had an incredible sunset as we often do at the church building. We took advantage of it by snapping some extra photos!

As always, we're thankful for the opportunity to teach and serve!
