Kaylee, Japan, Mother's Day, and other Randomness

Sorry I've been MIA for a while! Things are BUSY in my little corner of the world! What's been going on, you ask?

First things first... my neice, Kaylee, is having surgery tomorrow on her legs, please keep her in your prayers. I love this little gal so much, I can't hardly stand it sometimes!

Also, Chris is in Japan experiencing all kinds of amazing things like this:

and this:

WITHOUT ME!
All together now... BOOOO! He'll be there for about another week, so I'm flying solo until then.

I went to visit my parents last weekend for Mother's Day. I'm so glad I went... it was kind of a last minute decision, but it worked out really well in the end. Mother's Day isn't exactly the best day of the year for me right now, so it was nice to not to spend it alone. Here is my beauiful mom and me before church on Sunday.

I'm also trying to collect and buy things that we'll need for our trip to Zambia while Chris is gone. I have about 5 lists going (I am a major list maker!). AND we have Vacation Bible School the first week in June that I'm preparing for (I'm teaching 4 and 5 year olds... fun!). This weekend though, I'm scrapbooking a small album for a friend of a friend. I'll try to post the results (if they are as cute as I hope) on here later next week.

Beautiful picture of you and your mother. Chris left us... Put him in time out! I need to go there too. I want that dinner. I thought of you on mother's day. Hang in there.

I can understand about not liking Mother's Day. However, Maddie sent me a real sweet "Happy Mother's Day" text, then later in the day Jordan called to wish me Happy Mother's Day. It was SO sweet of them:) Just made my day. And hey, I like your hair. Did you lighten it? Very cute! Hope Kaylee is doing well too!
