It's a small world after all

Chris and I made it to Atlanta with no problems. We are sitting in the terminal now waiting to board our next flight. But that's not the reason I'm blogging.

After we arrived in Atlanta, we went to get something to eat (since it is lunchtime, after all). I was sitting at our table in the food court, waiting for Chris, when this very nice lady walked up to me.

Nice lady: "Excuse me, ma'am. You wouldn't happen to be from (insert the name of the city and state I live in here)?"

Me (sporting a the-college-I-work-for t-shirt): "Haha, actually yes I am!"

Nice lady: "Well my niece lives in town-close-to-where-you-live, and attended college-where-you-went."

Me: "Actually, I work there, but that's neat!"

...and we continued with the whole "where are you going", "what brings you here" small talk. She was a pleasant conversationalist.

So, once again, it's confirmed. It is a small world after all!

I love running into people who know people you know. I am glad you all are having a safe trip. We all talk about you all at church Wednesday night. How you all have been on a plane the hours.......
