Everything's up to date in Kansas City...

As I mentioned a few posts ago, Chris had a business trip to Kansas City and he invited Little B and I to come along. We drove up there on a Tuesday, on Wednesday Chris had training for work, and then we spent Thursday sight-seeing a bit and driving home.

We stayed in a hotel right next to The Legends shopping mall. While Chris was at his training, B and I walked over to The Legends and did some shopping. She was such a good girl while I drug her from store to store!

B and I split a little Five Guys Burgers and Fries for lunch. If you've never had this, you should!!! It is sooooo good. The portions are HUGE. This is what was left-over after I was full!!!

That evening, we went to eat as a family. The hostess took us to a booth that was raised from the rest of the floor. When I asked for a different place to sit so Brianna could reach the table, this was her solution:

She just stacked two highchairs on top of each other and said, "There you go!" Some people are SO special.

The weather was gorgeous and we enjoyed spending time outside as a family!

On Thursday morning, we went to Crown Center and took a tour of the Hallmark Visitor's Center. I love Hallmark, so I really enjoyed this activity. There were several school groups there (read: lots of kids), so Brianna really enjoyed this activity (she loooooooves kids). Chris declined to comment.

Before we left town, we ate at Fritz's in Crown Center. This is a super-cute little diner that delivers the food to each table by train!

Brianna says, "All aboard!"

So, these little trains rain along the ceiling carrying the food in the basket you can see in this photo.

When your food reaches your table, the basket drops onto the silver tray that lowers to the table. It was so cool!

One last family photo in front of one of the many many many fountains in KC! It was a great get-way!
