Brianna is 11 months old!

Miss Brianna, you are 11 months old today! I can't believe this is the last update I'll do before you turn one year! Here is Brianna's monthly photo with Baby Kelly. I'll probably stop taking monthly photos with Baby Kelly once B turns a year old :-("Momma, I'd much rather play with Baby Kelly than sit here next to her and smile pretty."
Some months, it seemed like B had so many new milestones that it was hard to remember them all. This month, there weren't really any drastic changes, although she is sure seeming less and less "baby". She is wearing mostly 12 month size clothes, size 3 diaper, and size 3 and 4 shoe. One change that this month brought is that Brianna now takes baths in the big tub. She has always really liked bath time, but now she LOVES it! She will go to the tub all throughout the day, then turn and look at me as if to say, "C'mon Mom, give me a bath!"Bathtime: the most exciting time of day!Brianna's tooth count is up to four! You can see her two cute little bottom teeth in this pic, and her two top front teeth have just started coming through. Her smile will look so different now.Unfortunately, about a week ago, B caught an awful stomach bug. This was the first time she had really been sick, and it was miserable! She ran a fever and could not hold down food for about 4 days.It was definitely a rough time as she would cry and cry and cry, especially if I tried to put her down or if anyone else tried to hold her. I even held her while she slept. I am so thankful that we are over that!I had decided to break B of her pacifier at the beginning of the year. She really didn't care about it anyway. Well, we were doing great until she got sick. I was desperate for anything to comfort her and keep her from crying incessantly, so I let her have the pacifier. We're going to revisit getting rid of it soon. On Saturday, January 8th, Brianna took her first step! She stands by herself, and has started to walk with her shopping cart and other walking toy all the time. She tries to take steps on her own a lot, but always falls. This time, however, she stepped and stayed standing! She'll be walking before we know it.Brianna loves to share her toys (and food), and wave hi and bye (especially in restarants, at church, and as we walk through stores). She still talks constantly, and right now her favorite thing to say is, "Te-ko, te-ko, te-ko". My Dad thinks she is saying, "Tickle, tickle, tickle", and it certainly sounds like that sometimes. She also says Go, Bible, and Uh-oh a lot.
We are trying to cherish every single moment with our girl as we wind down the first - amazing - year of her life.
