Birthday Celebration, Part 1

It's taken me several days to sort through all the photos from this weekend and finally get around to posting them. We had quite the weekend!!! After all the sorting, I decided that would have to do two posts on the birthday celebrations... there is just too much to fit into one post!

Brianna's birthday was on Friday, February 18th, and the girl was WOUND UP that day! She knew that it was her special day, so she was acting like a wild child. She had such a cute little birthday outfit, but I couldn't even slow her down long enough for a photo, ha!Chris took the day off work, and we had music class that morning (I'll do a whole post on music class next week). The class sang Happy Birthday to Brianna, and she just grinned and looked at everyone and soaked up every word. She loved being the center of attention!

Then, we had lunch at Red Robin. We let B color before lunch, and for the first time she did something other than eat the crayons! She was concentrating so hard on her coloring...

I forgot my camera, so these are phone pics...

That afternoon, while we worked on getting the house ready for the party the next day, Brianna DID NOT nap and got into all sorts of trouble. She was something else!

Grampy and G-Jo arrived later that evening, and we had a small little party with them. Brianna loved opening her gifts!

After gift opening, we sang Happy Birthday to B and let her eat a cupcake. She wasn't sure about it at first...

"Are you sure this is okay, Daddy?"

"Well, okay, if you say so..."

"Mmmmm, this is good stuff!"

We had such a good day, and I'm so glad that we had time to just spend together as a family. Stay tuned for pics from her party!

Your craftiness amazes me. I wish I lived closer so in aaaaaaall your free time you could make decorations and favors for Lily's party.
