We got this!

We drove by the school countless times,

had a billion conversations about it, 

toured the inside,

dropped off supplies,

met the teacher,

found our spot,

got a backpack,

took obligatory "First Day of Kindergarten" pics,

hugged Daddy extra tight, 

hugged Mommy extra tight,

loaded up our {sleepy} fan club,

said a prayer for a successful day,

watched Mommy and Daddy smile

(even though they were freaking out),

 walked into school

- holding Daddy's hand -

stood with our class,

participated in "Rise and Shine",

observed carefully,

high-fived Daddy, said "I got this", and walked away to class.
