I hope everyone had a great weekend. Ours was busy, busy, but that seems to be how October is for us. As everyone well knows by now, visiting the Pumpkin Patch is one of my very favorite autumn activities. This year, however, we almost missed out on it due to all the other things we have going on. The weekend I thought we would have free to go ended up being when Jordan's memorial service was held, and I just wasn't sure when else we were going to fit a pumpkin patch visit into everything.
Saturday morning was Sadie's birthday party, and I told Chris that if everything went smoothly with that then maybe we could do the pumpkin patch later in the afternoon. Thankfully, that is exactly how things worked out!
We decided to go to a more local pumpkin patch this year, mostly because I just didn't have the energy to drive all the way out to the one we really love (Pleasant Valley Farms). With limited time and kids who are a bit older, it worked out perfectly to go to Shepherd's Cross this year.
The weather was amazing, and I thought this was a picture perfect view!

After we took photos of all the kids on the front porch of the house, we saw the sign that said, "Please keep off", haha!
TWENTY years married to this guy!
Love my patch of kiddos!
The hay bale maze wasn't much, but the kids certainly didn't complain.

Bren is always drawn to the games . . . here he is trying his hand at horseshoes.
Brecklyn building a scarecrow.
My sweet girls were so happy to be there!
More games!
After we played the games and toured part of the farm, I decided to wanted to try and get a family pic. Chris helped me prop the phone up in the perfect spot, and I set the timer. This is what I got, haha!
Much better!
Love my crew!

After photos, Chris and I were ready to head home. The kids, however, had other plans. Sack racing it was!
This photo makes me smile!
One more with my love
